Angela is an international business coach, facilitator and trainer, drawing on over 20 years corporate experience spanning the UK, pan-Asian and global media markets.
Angela brings a wealth of international experience to senior executives who wish to increase their impact and effectiveness in the global business environment, with a particular focus on China and the Far East. From 2002 to 2010, Angela lived and worked in Beijing, China, running her own coaching, training and facilitation business, with a focus on effective business communication, cross-cultural training and executive coaching.

She has been a member of the Xenergie team since 2010 and has successfully coached both Asian and European VPs, notably GECAS Aviation Services, where she was involved in succession planning for executives in the Beijing and Singapore offices. In 2010, Angela returned to Ireland and now bases herself between Ireland, the UK and France, maintaining strong links with Asia and her clients in the region.
Prior to becoming a coach, Angela worked for News International in London (publishers of The Times, The Sunday Times), for fifteen years, she spent five of these years running the international advertisement group where her duties included coaching and training a worldwide network of representatives. She then joined Dow Jones in Singapore to spearhead the re-launch of the Far Eastern Economic Review.

Clients include Boston Consulting Group, Mercedes, BA, Novo Nordisk, Bayer, Siemens, European Union, The British Council, Nokia, Coca Cola, About.com (owned by The New York Times). She has been selected by Intel to be one of their Global Executive Coaches.

Angela is currently half way through a Masters in Coaching & Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University where her final thesis is on the cross-cultural coaching. She is accredited in Xenergie’s Executive Coaching methodology and will complete Xenergie X-Perience Team Coaching certification (a 9 month programme) in 2011. She also holds a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from The Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring (UK).

She is also qualified to administer Belbin Team Roles psychometric profiling, the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator (Steps I & II), FIRO-B, and is a member of The European Mentoring & Coaching Council and the International Association of Facilitators.
Angela enjoys travel and is happy to undertake engagements in Ireland, the UK, Europe and Asia, as required.

She speaks basic Mandarin and French.
