Methods of Profiling on Belbin Team Roles

belbinlogov_128There are three ways to access the latest Belbin Questionnaire. Each process uses the latest normative Self-Perception Inventory database, which includes the ninth team role of Specialist. Observer Assessments may be added to provide 360 feedback and greater accuracy on an individual's profile.

Option 1 - Online Service

Complete the questionnaires online via our website. Reports based on the Self-Perception Inventory and Observer Assessments can be generated from €50 per person including VAT. This service produces only individual reports and is not tailored for team/unit/job requirement/working relationships reports. Order now with Xenergie Shop !

Option 2 - Bureau Service for Belbin Get Set (Young people)

A manual bureau service allows the questionnaire and final reports to be emailed, faxed, or posted. For team building events tight deadlines can be met if prior warning is given. Get Set is the Belbin® profile for young people who are on their way to a first job. It is an effective way to help students on the way to further education, higher education and ultimately, the world of work.

Option 3 - e-Interplace software

For volume testing, it is more cost effective to purchase the software package e-Interplace. You will need to be a Belbin accredited consultant before purchasing the software - for those requiring certification in the use of Belbin, as we run regular Accreditation courses, please contact us or visit our calendar workshop page .

Experiential re-enforcement of the model

We strongly recommend that the profiles be backed up by a unique series of team projects and team buidling events that allow the roles to be explained and come to life in a non-work situation. These team events or projects will enable us to firstly explore un-balanced teams with too many of like roles and then later with balanced teams to clearly demonstrate the value of balanced roles and diversity in teams. These challenges can be presented as stand alone projects during a conference or as part of an exciting themed Xenergie team building event that is designed to incorporate the Belbin material - we have a huge range of options!
