CEO – Head of Client Services and Innovation, Motivational Speaker

One of Ireland’s Top 100 Businesswomen (Irish Entrepreneur 2007) and finalist in Image magazine Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, Lorna founded Xenergie in 2000 with a burning ambition to “energise the X factor” – the holy grail, the quest, that draws people into bringing their heart and soul into business and that draws companies into being the framework in which people can make feel they can really make a positive difference and contribute to a better world.  Her journey in growing Xenergie to the business it is today has provided a fertile testing ground for practising what she preaches!

Lorna heads up Xenergie’s consulting and coaching service teams, bringing her extensive experience as an international leadership coach, change manager, organisation analyst, and coach supervisor/mentor to the job of continuously improving and pushing the bar higher on Xenergie’s client service delivery, recognising that today’s environment requires leading edge solutions and client challenges are becoming more and more complex.  Currently she is adapting  Xenergie’s services for emerging market contexts, notably Russia and China.

Lorna’s strength lies in creating a highly stimulating reflective environment for collaborative dialogue and strategic thinking, whilst helping executives to hone their leadership skills and find, make and take their role in developing sustainable organisations.  She is also passionate about what business can learn from the natural world and the integration of mind, body and spirit into the leader’s journey – many of Xenergie’s techniques are grounded in the power of “now” and learning opportunities are taken out of the classroom into locations that inspire and stretch leaders to think beyond their current reality and comfort zone.

Prior to starting Xenergie, she spent many years as a senior manager and consultant in international corporate communications, business operations and marketing management, working for consulting firms and multinational technology brands, with significant involvement in cultural integration programmes for mergers and acquisitions

Lorna holds a Masters in Organisation Analysis and Leadership from the Grubb Institute/University of London, a Diploma in Cognitive and Humanistic Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Coaching Supervision from the University of Middlesex, amongst many other coaching and business qualifications, including Henley Management School, UK.   She is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a teacher of Kundalini yoga, qualified by the international Karam Kriya School.

Organisations that she has consulted to include AIB Corporate Banking, Biomedical Research, ESB, GE, Irish Management Institute, London Borough of Southwark, Merit Medical, Johnson & Johnson, Netfort Technologies, Telehouse Europe , Shannon Engine Support, SAP, University College Dublin and Oxford University. She is also a faculty member of the global leadership universities for Ingersoll Rand, Thyssenkrup and Cisco.
