Organisation Analyst and Change Consultant
Marie is a consultant with proven skills and ability in supporting organisations in managing their large scale change and transition projects through attention to the people, systems, behaviours and processes. With a passion for quality and continuous improvement she engages with and empowers people to look for and become part of the change that is required to make the organisation sustainable.
Her strength lies in her ability to assist individuals and teams to recognise and clarify their roles within the context of the larger organisational system within which they work and contribute. She achieves this by helping individuals and teams clarify both their current and desired knowledge, skills, attitudes and values and the impact they wish to have within the organisation. By addressing any conflicts and building trust they become empowered to contribute and achieve more effectively, both their own and the organisational vision and goals. Results – the right work, in the right way, at the right time.
Her breadth of experience and training; from corporate financial services, process improvement, corporate governance, systems thinking, scenario based strategy, strategic alignment, project management, training, facilitation and team profiling – enables her to combine the practical and results focused requirement of organisations and their overall sustainability without losing sight of the individuals needs within the organisation.
As project manager and consultant for clients such as Irish Life & Permanent - Group HR, Superquinn and DHL Express, she supported the review, improvement and implementation of changes; both team, process and structural. Result - effectiveness of operations, enhanced competency of teams and reduction of operational and financial risk. She has also facilitated with her affiliate company CIL (Centre for Innovative Leadership), strategic change workshops for Irish Life, Eskom and Skillnets, working with scenario planning, leadership and systems thinking.
She continuously maintains and improves her own competencies. In addition to her being a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA), she is certified as a Master Trainer by the Master Institute in Geneva, Belbin Team Roles by Belbin Associates and Executive Leadership Coaching by Xenergie.
Her early career spanned 15 years in corporate financial services in Ireland, UK and Europe. Her employers have included Irish Life & Permanent plc, Euroclear (JP Morgan), and Dresdner Kleinworth Benson. She was Finance Director for a pan European public affairs company EPPA before applying her knowledge skills and talents as an independent consultant.
