ICF First Ever Global Research on Coaching
By Bernard Chanliau, Tuesday 31 October, 2006
ICF would like to invite you and your organisations to participate in the first-ever global research study on personal, business, executive, internal and corporate coaches. PricewaterhouseCoopers has been commissioned by the ICF to conduct research on their behalf to provide a valuable insight into the coaching profession. The response of you and your members or colleagues is vital as the findings from this survey will provide a benchmark for all future research in the coaching industry.
It is important that this survey is completed by as many coaches throughout the world as possible. Your participation will ensure that we produce a robust, comprehensive, "state of the industry" report. Specifically, the results of the survey will replace anecdote with hard evidence. This survey will be conducted independently by PricewaterhouseCoopers in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, which guarantees your confidentiality and anonymity.
Your contact information or individual views will not be shared with anyone.
How will the results of the ICF/PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Coaching Survey be Used?
A few key preliminary results will be shared by PricewaterhouseCoopers with participants at the International Coach Federation’s Annual Conference, November 1-4, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
The final results will be distributed during International Coaching Awareness Week in February of 2007. Every coach who submits a survey will receive a copy of the Executive Summary. In addition, ICF will share the results with members, other coaching organizations and the media so that we can all use them to promote clear messages about the size and impact of this profession.
Survey participants will be provided with a copy of the executive summary containing the key findings from this survey.
