Date: Friday 18th and Saturday 19th Jan 2008

Cost: 450 Euros (all inclusive)

The weekend will consist of 3 seminars covering HR topics both in the public and private sector.  The cost of the weekend includes full accommodation, breakfasts, a gala dinner followed by entertainment on the Friday night, lunch on Saturday and a buffet dinner on Saturday evening.
Xenergie  will  cover seminar  2 and 3 on Saturday:

Coaching as an EAP Intervention: This session will explore how emotional competencies are now perceived as vital for business success and how Executive Coaching has emerged as a key process that has helped to change perceptions of 'mental health' amongst executives because it has the capacity to engage them at a level they connect with and add value to their career and organization's success. Particular attention will be paid to the widening remit of employee EAPs in relation to building employee resilience at all levels within the organization - as opposed to just dealing with problems when they happen - and how coaching is proving highly effective as a preventative intervention and an intervention for building positive corporate cultures.

Team Doctor - From Dysfunction to Performance: Designing a Transformation Journey for Teams that Need to be Fit for Change. With millions of euros spent on team building days that deliver instant fun, bad hangovers and little concrete change the world over, the time has come to move into a new era for team performance.  Xenergie Consulting will share their experience as executive coaches in the journey of transforming dysfunctional teams into performing teams, in response to changing times when trust and commitment is no longer a given and time does not wait for people to catch .

Team performance is a journey, not an event.  It takes careful attention, naming the issues, getting 'underneath the bonnet' of team dynamics and above all persistence, rather than avoidance, to get it right.  Collaborative and committed teams are a must for successful change and innovation - with a focus on challenging hierarchical and bureaucratic habits that stifle commitment and creativity.  Combined with coaching style leadership, the journey to team performance can significantly shift corporate cultures into positive 'can-do' attitudes, reduce fear-based behaviours and make the work environment and stimulating and fulfilling place to be.

In this session we will discuss some typical phases of a team journey and how to approach them, how to combine many of the tools that are already out there and how to design and roll-out a team journey.
