Set in the heart of organic farmland, natural woodland and mountain wilderness and, with nothing to disturb you beyond the odd wild goat, provides complete seclusion for those who want to get away from it all.

Over three days of deep nurture, we offer you the experience of deep listening to yourself and to gather insight for whatever challenges you wish to bring with you.  Whether you are at a crossroads in your life or business, or just need to refresh and reinspire yourself, we will help draw out the wisdom within you and around you, through deep listening and connection with nature.

Your hosts for the retreat will be Lorna McDowell, Gerry Ryan, Baljit Muston and Colm Brogan, who will work with you both individually and in group workshop. Workshops will be interspersed with walks and reflection time in the Burren, music and talks from local people, with time for  holistic treatments and massage (if you want to indulge)  and gourmet cooking by a cordon bleu chef to feed the inspiration.

This is an exclusive retreat with limited places.   It is possible to attend as a couple as some of the rooms are double bedded rooms.

What are “Systemic Discovery” cohorts?

We bring together people from diverse backgrounds to explore important questions and share experiences about change and transformation.  The cohorts offer both the opportunity to learn from each other and also to explore new models for working with VUCA.

Importantly, we focus on the issues around deep transformation and change, and model the experience of “live learning”, where participants are coached through how to harvest the experiences that they are having with each other in the here and now of group life.   In other words, as well as learning about the “what and how” of change, the group is studying itself and using itself as a laboratory for testing and practicing new ways of operating.

People that take part in these cohorts often go on to do more advanced training in the models, such as Xenergie’s Advanced Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching.

How does it work?

Cohort members are encouraged to bring their questions, feelings and experiences about the challenges they face in order to engage in a peer consulting process facilitated by Xenergie Systemic Team Coaches.  Each workshop includes learning inputs and some models to experiment with, and the Xenergie facilitators help the group engage in meaning making using the models and engaging in live group action learning so that experiences are harvested into deeper insight  and practical applications.  Participants then experiment with their insights and learning between each workshop (3 workshops in total) and each workshop experience builds on and augments the experiences that are being generated, providing a rich support network for testing new ways of operating.

About Xenergie International

We have a rich experience in helping organisations work more deeply with change.  Our systemic networked approach connects people inside and outside organisations to form cohorts of interest that share a common purpose around learning about leading change and innovation.

Leadership & Talent Development Coaching Certification – Online Only

This certification has been specifically designed for experienced coaches who have coached individuals successfully in the past but who wish to expand their repertoire into coaching at a strategic level and within the context of organisation talent development and management.

This certification programme is delivered entirely online consisting of 10 online group sessions of 2 hours each (20 hours) over a 5 month period and recorded sessions for home study (16 hours).

The purpose of the programme is:

1) To deepen and widen expertise and knowledge in leadership and executive coaching, focusing on high potential talent development and leadership, succession planning, team performance and learning with other coachees.

Course Layout

The Certificate programme specifically teaches practitioners to assess team strengths and weaknesses, facilitate awareness and develop performance coaching skills.   Participants are encouraged to apply their learning and practice designing and facilitating teams with the support of supervision and peer group consultations and study groups. On graduation, participants are also officially accredited in the world-renowned Belbin Team Roles by Belbin Associates UK.

On completion of the programme, students can if they wish progress to our Advanced Diploma to take the learning deeper into a deeper and more strategic level of working with teams for culture transformation and innovation.

Certification Requirements

Following completion of Module C, participants work with their peers to apply all learning and Results are presented to the group during an online session.

On successful graduation, students are encouraged to continue their learning to the Advanced Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching and Innovation and receive learning credits towards this programme.
