A 2-day workshop which focuses on an action learning innovation and collaboration process, using leading edge theory in innovation: Theory ‘U’ as developed by C.Otto Scharmer at MIT and Peter Senge, author of the Learning Organisation theory. Ideal for cross-functional or inter-company groups who must learn to share ideas to generate the new. We emphasise a residential workshop due to the importance of creating the ideal space for intensive collaboration and innovation – our experience is that the combination of classroom and informal social interaction aids the “birthing” process of innovation:
Day 1: Group Relations: Developing the Language & Behaviour of Innovation Thinking: the experience of being a person in a collaboration environment working within a context and system, and creating a new sub-system through this shared collaboration group; the importance of working to clear purpose, shared vision and being open to and aware of “strength” and “strangeness” in the team.
Day 1 (eve) & 2: Experiencing Innovation: Bringing forth the New: Introduction to Theory U (Scharmer); letting go in order to let come - the birthing of new ideas.
