Masterclass 1: An introduction to working with energy

The first module explores the concept of working with the power of energy to understand the impact on ourselves, our teams and our organisations. Energy is the capacity for doing work. By being aware and managing our energy we increase our capacity to create value. Individually there is a universal sense of overwhelm and fatigue with many employees, across sectors. By connecting work to a sense of purpose, being present and taking meaningful action we generate a more fulfilling and energetic experience. The unconscious energy in teams has a direct impact on productivity. Awareness of this will become ever more important as teams move towards hybrid working and the development of personal relationships is impacted. Working with trust as a process in the team becomes a critical success factor. The way in which work is performed in an organisation also needs attention. Working from the future and creating a game-changing mindset generates a new way of seeing and being. This helps organisations to break the gridlocks of repeating behaviours that so often stall growth and decrease energy levels.

Masterclass 2: Acting as the energy source. Rediscovering your personal energy to support others.

This masterclass helps individual leaders to understand their personal energy and to release the energy of other individuals in their teams and organisations. It explores your own mental constructs and emotional responses, focusing on connecting yourself to a deeper sense of source and meaning, creating an understanding of how you can take a role in raising and holding the energy of the system as a whole and containing difficult situations. Based on the Grubb Transforming Experience Framework, it introduces some principles of group relations that have been instrumental in complex reconciliation processes and peace agreements, creating a toolkit to help you make an impact. It is delivered in a confidential group environment to ensure that you benefit from the energy of the other participants as you explore your space.

Masterclass 3: Circulating energy. Using the power of teams as a vehicle for change.

Offered as an open event for individuals and as a private event for teams, this masterclass takes a deep look at the unconscious defence aspects of team dynamics. Understanding how the energies of individuals combine to create a powerful force for change is at the heart of the masterclass. Using the concept of valency, we explore energy sources and sinks within teams. We also explore the role of trust as a process, providing tools that help to identify practical ways of increasing trust as a primary source of energy within the team.

Masterclass 4: Systemic energy - Working with energy at an organisational level.

This masterclass provides access to a new way of seeing, thinking, being and doing in relation to the future of your organisation. We provide practical tools for analysing your organisational situation from a system-wide perspective, looking at structures, beliefs, behaviours and culture. We help you to analyse the gridlocks that are inhibiting progress and provide access to emerging models and ways of thinking about organisational energy. We look at the importance of working the boundaries between groups, understanding the inter-group processes and containing the whole.
